About this role

We’d like to get to know you too Investing is a two-way decision. You’ll want to understand Lily, the market, the team and what we’re trying to build. We also want to understand the people we might have around the table as we grow. Lily is building the talent platform for frontline work, using conversational AI to help employers find, understand and hire great people at scale. We’re ambitious about where this could go, and we know the right investors can make a meaningful difference along the way. So we thought we’d do something slightly different. The role We’re looking for investors who bring more than capital. People who can challenge our thinking, share perspective when we need it, make useful introductions and be genuinely helpful when things get complicated. We don’t expect our investors to have all the answers. We do care about how they think, how they work with founders and what kind of relationship they want to build. What we’d love to understand We’re interested in: What has stood out to you about Lily so far What you still need to believe Where you see the biggest opportunity What concerns or risks you’re thinking about How you like to work with founders Where you think you could be most useful What a great founder-investor relationship looks like to you Your interview Lily is going to interview you herself. It’ll be a short phone conversation designed to help us understand how you think and give you a feel for the product at the same time. No trick questions. No need to prepare a pitch. Just a conversation. There may still be a score, though. What happens next If there’s a strong fit on both sides, we’ll keep the conversation going. And hopefully, by the end of it, we’ll both have a better sense of whether we’d like to build something together.
